Cross-Centered Church Multiplication Strategy
Vision
Planting Season Ministries exists to glorify God by proclaiming Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Everything we teach, every disciple we make, every leader we train, and every church we plant is centered upon what Jesus Christ accomplished through His death, burial, and resurrection.
The cross is not simply the beginning of the Christian life—it is the foundation of the Christian life. We believe that every aspect of ministry must continually point believers back to the finished work of Christ on Calvary.
Our vision is to establish healthy, Bible-centered churches that faithfully preach the Gospel of the Cross, equip believers to live by the power of Christ’s finished work, and reproduce themselves by planting new churches throughout communities, states, and nations.
Mission Statement
To raise up pastors and ministry leaders whose lives are centered on the Cross of Jesus Christ, to plant churches that preach the Gospel without compromise, and to multiply those churches until every community has a strong biblical witness proclaiming the saving power of Jesus Christ.
Our Foundation
At Planting Season Ministries, everything begins and ends with Jesus Christ.
We believe that:
- Salvation is found only through the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross.
- Victory over sin comes through our identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.
- Spiritual growth comes by continually trusting Christ rather than relying on human strength.
- Every sermon, every Bible study, every ministry, and every outreach should point people back to the Cross.
- The Holy Spirit empowers believers because of what Christ accomplished at Calvary.
Our message is simple:Jesus Christ crucified, risen again, and coming again.

Every church we establish will remain centered upon Jesus Christ and His finished work on the Cross.

Leadership Development
Phase One
Developing Future Pastors
Each church will identify men whom God has called into pastoral ministry.
The assistant pastor and his wife will receive biblical and practical ministry training, learning how to shepherd God’s people while keeping Christ and His Cross at the center of every ministry.
Training includes:
- Biblical doctrine centered on Christ
- Expository preaching
- Discipleship
- Prayer
- Evangelism
- Church leadership
- Counseling through biblical truth
- Family ministry
- Children’s ministry
- Youth ministry
- Worship
- Church administration
- Community outreach
- Church planting
Throughout their training they will continually learn that ministry is not built upon personality, programs, or popularity, but upon Jesus Christ and His finished work.
Phase Two
Sending Church Planters
When leadership recognizes that an assistant pastor has been spiritually prepared and equipped, he and his family will be commissioned to plant a new church.
A team from the mother church will go with them to establish a healthy congregation built upon biblical doctrine and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The goal is not simply to start another church but to establish another lighthouse that continually points people to Christ.
Phase Three
Mother Church Support
The sending church will support the new church financially until it becomes self-sustaining.
Support may include:
- Pastor’s salary
- Building expenses
- Utilities
- Ministry equipment
- Children’s curriculum
- Worship resources
- Administrative support
- Evangelism and outreach funding
This support allows the new pastor to devote himself to preaching the Gospel, discipling believers, and reaching the community with the message of the Cross.
Phase Four
Multiplication
When the church becomes healthy and self-supporting, it begins developing its own assistant pastor.
That assistant pastor will eventually be sent to plant another church.
Each church becomes both a disciple-making church and a sending church.
This multiplication continues from generation to generation, fulfilling Christ’s command to make disciples of all nations.
Community Impact
Every Planting Season Ministries church will become a visible expression of Christ’s love within its community.
Each church will actively minister through:
- Evangelism
- Prayer ministry
- Food assistance
- Clothing distribution
- Disaster relief
- School partnerships
- Children’s ministries
- Youth ministries
- Marriage enrichment
- Family support
- Nursing home ministry
- Prison ministry
- Addiction recovery ministry
- Community events
- Local missions
These ministries are not ends in themselves. They are opportunities to demonstrate the love of Christ while proclaiming the message of the Cross.

Every ministry exists to glorify Christ and help believers grow in their understanding of His finished work on the Cross.
Financial Stewardship
Each church will practice biblical stewardship with integrity and transparency.
As churches mature, they will invest in planting additional churches, ensuring that the Gospel continues to spread through faithful multiplication.
Resources are viewed as tools entrusted by God to advance His Kingdom, never as the goal of ministry.

Each congregation will remain united in biblical doctrine, committed to the authority of Scripture, devoted to the finished work of Jesus Christ, and passionate about making disciples.
Generation after generation, these churches will continue raising up pastors, sending church planters, and proclaiming the Gospel until every community has a faithful witness to Jesus Christ.
We desire that Planting Season Ministries become known not for buildings or numbers, but for exalting Jesus Christ, preaching the Cross, making disciples, and planting churches that will faithfully continue this mission until the Lord returns.
